Welcome to the 2025 Magalies Rocks the Cradle Gravel/ MTB & Trail Meander.
It’s taking place on Saturday, the 6th of September at Die Krip, as part of the 2025 Landboufees, just outside of Magaliesburg.
Race Number Pickup
Wednesday the 3rd of September from 12.30 to 17.00 – Venue: JoziGin, Bryanston, cnr Post House & Main
Alternatively, if you can’t make it on Wednesday, Saturday the 6th at Die Krip from 06:30 to 07:15.

The 25km Gravel/ MTB route will be clearly marked with Green Arrows on a white A4 perspex board, and the route will also have pink stickers showing you the way.

Rules of the Road
Please obey all instructions and please remember that if you are riding on a dirt or tar road, you need to obey the rules of the road. We do not have road closure, you DO NOT have right of way.
Marshals
Please always obey their instructions. Failure to do so will result in your immediate disqualification. This is important for your safety and that of others.
Prize Giving
This will take place at 11.00.
There are prizes for the overall winners in the male and female categories, as well as various lucky draw prizes.
But remember that this is a Gravel Cruise and it’s more about the fun and “Gees” than the race.
Catering
There will be drinks and snacks available for purchase as part of the Landboufees. There are many options to choose from.

Late Entries
We will be accepting entries on the day. We don’t accept Credit Cards, so please bring cash.

Cancellation Policy
Should you wish to cancel, 70% of the entry fee will be refunded if written notice is received before 31st of August 2025.
0% of the registration fee will be refunded if written notice is received after 31st of August 2025.
Cancelled entries will under no circumstances be transferred to 2026.
In the event of adverse weather conditions, or should the dates of the event be changed owing to unforeseen circumstances, such as legal requirements or government legislation changes, the race organiser and the course director reserve the right to cancel or postpone the race or stage due to safety conditions.
No refunds will be given, however, your entry will be transferred to the next event provided it takes place in 2025. Should you not be able to make the dates, or the event is cancelled for 2025, a 60% discount will be offered for the 2026 event.
Substitutions
Should you wish to substitute yourself, you are able to do so. We encourage you to make substitutions as soon as possible such that we can update our records and send relevant information to the new runner.
Substitutions will cost R50 per substitution.
Substitutions will close on Sunday the 31st of August 2025.
Further substitutions can only be done at registration for a cost of R50.
