Join us as we take you on a 4-day cycling experience of a lifetime.
Discover the hidden treasures of the Eastern Cape.
Ride from Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) to The Zuurberg Mountains enjoying breathtaking views, where you will send your first night at the stunning Camp Figtree Mountain Safari Lodge.
Ride through the Krom River Valley. Enjoy an elephant encounter. Cycle through the Kariega region on your final stretch to Kenton.
Spend two nights at Buffalo Kloof, a private luxury farm where you will have wildlife encounters second to none.
Enjoy a river cruise into Kenton as the final stretch of your journey.

Route Description
- Day 1 - Uitenhage to Camp Figtree
- Day 2 - Camp Figtree to Buffalo Kloof via Krom River Valley
- Day 3 - Buffalo Kloof to Buffalo Kloof - Safari Ride - elephant and rhino encounter
- Day 4 - Buffalo Kloof to Kenton - the surprise ride
- Day 5 - Early morning beach ride and/ or return home

Situated just outside of Grahamstown, Buffalo Kloof features an exceptional variety of habitat, from forested hills cleft by ancient rivers to open savanna grasslands home to a rich biodiversity of wildlife and plant life – from elephants to field mice; crowned eagles to sunbirds; palm trees to fynbos; Cape clawless otters to African buffalo.

Your last night will be spent in Kenton-on-Sea, and here there will be a few surprises waiting for you. Don’t expect to ride all the way to the finish. Some of the journey will be on water. But more about that later…
