Tour Le'DiFrance
PE to Kenton MTB Tour
July 2023
During lockdown, Jeremy Mansfield and I started a charity called “The 100% Challenge”. One of the initiatives was a charity ride called Tour Le’DiFrance, a ride taking place over the Tour de France.
And now for the 2023 edition of Tour Le’DiFrance.
Join us as we take you on a 4-day cycling experience of a lifetime.
Discover the hidden treasures of the Eastern Cape.
Ride from Uitenhage, just north of Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) to The Zuurberg Mountains enjoying breathtaking views, where you will send your first night at the stunning Camp Figtree Mountain Safari Lodge.
On Day 2, you will ride over the Zuurberg Pass, stopping off at the Zuurberg Lodge for “tea”, before heading on to enjoy an elephant encounter at your home for the night, Barefoot Addo.
From there you will cycle through the stunning Krom River Valley on to Alicedale. From there, a quick portage to where you will spend a night at Buffalo Kloof, a private luxury game farm where you will have wildlife encounters second to none.
From Buffalo Kloof, you will cycle via the Kariega Valley region on your final stretch to Kenton.
Enjoy a river cruise into Kenton as the last piece of your journey.

The Tour Le’DiFrance is now an initiative of a newly formed NPO called “The Bridge-It Foundation”.
The Bridge-It Foundation currently has a number of initiatives in the Eastern Cape, supporting a rural primary school in Morgan Bay called Ferndale Rural Primary School. Plus we also support the Cwili Community Center as well as Cwili Primary School based in Kei Mouth.
We also have an entrepreneurship development initiative and have as of January 2023 started supporting various entrepreneurs in startup or expansion initiatives with interest-free loans.
Our objectives are to expand these initiatives into the greater South Africa.
