Magalies Rocks the Cradle: Now part of the
Stellantis Adventure Series

Where: Die Krip Guest Farm, Magaliesburg

12km from Magaliesburg on the R509 towards
Derby and Koster.

Back for its fifth edition, Magalies Rocks the Cradle (MRtC) returns to the foothills of the Magaliesberg for another memorable day on the bike or on the trail.

Relaxed in nature but rich in experience, MRtC is about getting outdoors, enjoying great routes, good company, and soaking up the atmosphere — with just enough competitive edge to keep things interesting.

Cycling: Gravel/ MTB

The ride routes are predominantly gravel, with a small amount of tar mixed in. A gravel bike is ideal, but a mountain bike is equally at home.

Expect flowing farm roads, wide-open views, and terrain that encourages conversation, smiling legs, and the occasional push when the group stretches out. Whether you’re riding socially or lining up with intent, the routes deliver a proper day out.

Trail Run/ Walk

The Dirt Trail Run / Walk follows private farm roads, jeep track and quiet district roads. There’s nothing technical — just honest terrain and beautiful countryside.

Perfect for runners chasing rhythm, walkers wanting fresh air, or anyone keen to experience the landscape at their own pace.

Series Racing — Pressure Rising – The Stellantis Adventure Series is Hotting Up

Magalies Rocks the Cradle is a pivotal point in two competitions — the third round of the 2026 Stellantis Adventure Series and a key fixture in the Luxliner Schools Series.

By early September the standings are no longer theoretical — they’re personal.

Series contenders arrive already feeling the season — mentally and physically. Points matter now. Gaps matter now. Every climb, regroup and sprint carries consequence.

For the schools, the inter-school rivalry is properly alive. Jerseys are noticed, groups form early, and “we’ll just ride easy today” rarely lasts beyond the first few kilometres.

Yet the beauty of MRtC is that this intensity lives comfortably alongside the social spirit. You’ll see full-gas racing at the front, determined chasing in the middle, and relaxed riding at the back — all sharing the same roads, views and finish-line vibe.

Whether you’re defending a lead, chasing points, racing friends or just enjoying the energy around you, this is where the season starts taking shape.

Race it. Ride it. Run it. Kuier after it.
Magalies Rocks the Cradle is waiting.
