Luxliner Route 66: Now part of the
Stellantis Adventure Series
What is the Stellantis Adventure Series?
Launching in 2026, the Stellantis Adventure Series unites five of Gauteng’s premier gravel and endurance events — The Grind, Luxliner Route 66, Magalies Rocks the Cradle, Cradle Mountain Trophy and Magalies Adventure — under one powerful new banner.
Through a partnership with The Leverage Corporation, Stellantis will provide prize money, media support, and a fleet of event vehicles. Riders will earn points at each race, with the series offering a R350 000 prize purse, including R100 000 each for the overall male and female winners. Across all events, the total prize pool will top R500 000.
Each event will pay podium prizes (top 5 men, top 3 women), and every round will include a highlights package on SuperSport.

Route 66 Experience
Saturday 28 February to Sunday 1 March 2026, Mount Grace Hotel, Magaliesburg
Back for the 16th year in a row, we welcome you to the biggest and most popular stage race in Gauteng.
Taking place at the beautiful 5-Star Mount Grace Hotel & Spa, set in the beautiful and majestic setting of the Magaliesburg Mountains.
Perfect training for the Absa Cape Epic and perfect “Altitude Training”.
And don’t forget about how good this event will be for your legs if you are training for our very own Investec Great Kei Trek.
This year, we are changing things up an bit, and our focus is on Gravel.
It’s now a 2-day, Gravel/ MTB Stage Race in Gauteng.
It’s tough, it’s fun, and incredibly rewarding, and it’s back in 2026.
But two days is not all that is on offer.
Choose your distance. Pick your adventure.
Choose from 5 km, 10 km, or 15 km routes that wind through rolling hills, shaded valleys, and sweeping views of the Magaliesberg.
Each route offers a balance of challenge and reward — run it hard, or walk it easy.
Tough enough to make you earn that medal.
Beautiful enough to remind you why you love the outdoors
